Pete "Windshield" Thompson
November 16, 1972 - October 25, 2011
Marvin "Pete" Thompson II, we knew him as "Windshield" was born in Germany on November 16, 1972.
Windshield was in the Navy on active duty for 10 years where he was stationed on the USS Simon Lake, USS America and the USS John F Kennedy.  After leaving active duty Windshield was in the Naval Reserve as a Sea Bee for 10 years where he was an Equipment Operator First Class (EO1) with NMBC 14 Det. 11.  During that time Windshield made two tours in Southwest Asia.  Windshield married Melinda or as we know her Stitch *itch on November 16, 2001.  Their family included Kaelie, Tommy, Marvin (PJ), and Austin.
Windshield lived in Panama City for about 12 years.  He worked at Berg Pipe for 10 years.  Motorcycling, fishing, boating and hanging out with his family were his favorite things to do.
Pete "Windshield" Thompson left us on October 25th, 2011.
He was a good husband, a good father, and a good friend.  He will be missed by us all.
